This post has been long over due… about 6 months to be exact. 

About a year and half ago I met Jennifer.  She pointed out one day that she’d always wanted a Miata… a car that I had never considered.  The more I thought about the simplicity of the Miata and the appeal of a street legal go kart the more I realized that she had a great idea.  Shortly after I purchased my 05 Lava Orange Mazdaspeed Miata. 

From there it’s been a common interest that has taken off in both of us.  She picked up a 01 NB2 and I have recently acquired a 94 NA8.  In July of 2011 we made the 9 hour trip from Michigan to Deals Gap at the border of TN and NC.  There we found a large Roadster meet held at the Tail of the Dragon.  People thought we were weird for taking both cars on such a long trip just to drive a road but those with roadsters understand.  We had a fantastic time and here are some photos of our runs down there.
