We’re a fan of comic character parodies, particularly those that exhibit Drama Power. And we’re a fan of Bryan’s NB. An entirely suitable name for a Roadster, the more you think about it.
Here is a photo of my 2002 Laser Blue Miata, nicknamed, appropriately The Tick (after the hero of the same name).

He’s my 3rd Miata, following a ‘97 Montego Popular Equipment Package (Monty) and a ‘97 M-Edition (Junior). I picked him up in 2008 following a 6hr trip to Knoxville to sell Junior and a 13hr bus ride to Florida. The Tick is mildly modded (mostly suspension and wheels), but his biggest claim to fame is that he is one of the 50 or so of the 150 Laser Blues to get a black cloth interior.
I miss my 1993 LE, but love the new girl….

Hohyung has been making some great submissions lately - stay tuned for some more progress with his Galaxy Grey NC. For now, here’s a nice track-day capture.

The city of Atlanta, GA is trying to kill the drifting scene in the metro area by passing a noise ordinance banning all drift events on private property within 1000ft of residential areas. Please help us out by signing the petition located here:

This quality submission flies to us all the way from France. Not the first photographer to be taken by the Roadster’s charms!
It’s now 3 years I decided I’ll buy an NA. For some reasons I never had the possibility to do it, but as I was talking about it, a friend got into it and bought a fresh 1.8 Miata, full of stories.
This car was originally owned by a member of the US Navy and still has related stickers. Then it travelled in UK for some years before it’s new owners moved to France. The car was stock, except the roll-ball and a special shift knob with a clutch command on it.
I made the following shots 2 years ago at the top of Semnoz.

That ride was great, top down at nearly freezing temperatures, and still feeling confortable with a jacket and heater on.
Since then, I met with other members of the Roadster community and shot other cars, but there’s something I like so much in this photoshoot. I’m especially proud of the 2nd one, because I feel like reading an old car magazine when I’m looking at this one.
This photo was took later in 2010, and I also like the feeling of it.
Even in it’s stock and not ultra fast configuration, when I got a drive it gave me instant pleasure, and I think it looks good. Mine should be coming soon, and I’m so excited about that !

A timely submission from the venerable Revlimiter. Another Roadster done right.
This is Bucky, Sharka’s little brother and my daily driver. We heard it was NB week and got all pretty and clean for a photo.
Big thanks for the contribution, Adam! Post #999 on Roadster Life!
An endorsement like no other. Thanks Jonno for this update of your new adventures with a certain black S Special.

This is my grandmother. She is 95 years old. She approves.
