It’s almost that time again… Targa Tasmania 2012 is almost upon us.
Here’s a little reminder of what goes on from Ben’s great highlights video of last year.
Featuring, of course, MX5 Racing’s NC (and, it must be noted, a very sideways TVR!).

LED’s. They are everywhere these days, and are being retrofitted to all types of cars too.
We’re not big fans of LED parkers, particularly because the execution of them usually detracts from a cars aesthetics. However, as Drew demonstrates here with his NA, well thought out, factory-standard result like this can bring impressive results.
Kudos.
Small promo vid on Targa Racing’s “Arrive & Drive” set up.
Featuring some great shots of one of the MX5 Racing NCs on some of the Targa Tasmania stages. We are happy to give a shout out to Targa Racing as we have sampled their wares first hand, and these wares, they are good.
An NA8 being intimidated by an NA6 in this video from Japan. To our eye the NA6 driver’s lines are a bit cleaner. Some wiggling under brakes from the Roadster in front indicates that the driver in the NA6 is certainly ruffling some feathers here.
Targa Wrest Point is almost upon us again.
So, following on from the last video, here is some more great coverage of the recent Targa Tasmania 2011, from MX5 Road Rallyers Ben & Alex.
Some great “in-car” from a recent Prodsports race at Phillip Island.
Our intrepid driver from Team Chapman summarises this video best:
I’m chasing down a Porsche Boxster in the #66 Mazda MX5 whilst trying to hang onto the lead of Class E. Meanwhile Barton Mawer is trying to hunt down Alan Simonsen in the Lambo for the overall lead, and obviously not in the mood to waste anytime.
Be sure to watch right to the end for a visual demonstration of the difference between a Class E and a Class A category racer!
A small taste of one of the largest regular events anywhere on the Roadster calendar - Chris Julian brings us some footage from Miatas at the Gap.
Here is a little video from Miatas at the gap that I took, this was the first year I went (bought the car 6 months ago), such a great community! I had so much fun met so many awesome people. It was by far without a doubt the best time I have ever had. Check out the video!
Targa High Country - vox pops and insights care of Ben & Alex.
“na6, good for the spirit, roadster heart and joy into the touge sky”
So true. Lovely little vid from the canyons of SoCal. Great song too.
